Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is currently seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents in a unique role that involves providing guidance and nurturing to students from disadvantaged backgrounds while living on-campus and fostering a family-like environment.
Requirements: Prior experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be age 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; restrictions on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
