Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school providing a career-focused education with housing and meals to students from disadvantaged backgrounds from pre-K through 12th grade. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS is fully endowed, ensuring a thriving environment for both students and staff. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and offering guidance and support to groups of approximately 8-12 students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol on duty, limitations on pets, and participation in campus activities; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity and serve as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
