Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides a fully endowed environment where students and staff thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and providing care for a group of approximately 8-12 students, creating a family-like structure and fulfilling various responsibilities.

Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; must be a legally married couple for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including a smoke-free and weapon-free environment, limitations on pets, and no alcohol on duty; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
