Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to become Flex Houseparents. This unique role involves providing a supportive and family-like environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering them housing, meals, and a nurturing educational experience.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; demonstrate integrity and act as a positive role model for students; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; no alcohol permitted while on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; limitations on pets with only approved breeds allowed
