Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the leading private schools globally, offering exceptional career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, providing students and staff with all necessary resources for success. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students, delivering a family-like environment and undertaking various responsibilities such as driving, medication administration, budgeting, and reporting.

Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples who have been legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high level of integrity; both spouses must submit individual employment applications.
