Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and support for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides housing, meals, and comprehensive resources for both students and staff to thrive. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing a small group of students in a family-like environment on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limited pet policy; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity and serve as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
