Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents in providing guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Houseparents reside in on-campus homes, fostering a family-like environment while overseeing daily tasks such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting. Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including a smoke-free, weapon-free environment, and no alcohol on duty; limitations on pets with only approved breeds of fish and one dog; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate integrity as staff are role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
