Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

About: Milton Hershey School, based in Hershey, PA, is seeking Youth Development Specialists to serve as flex houseparents, responsible for nurturing and guiding students in a family-like environment. This unique role requires married couples to provide care and support to groups of 8-12 students, including managing responsibilities like transportation and medication administration. Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage and both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application
