Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides a fully endowed environment where students and staff thrive with all expenses covered. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes, providing guidance and structure to small groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved dog breed allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model behavior expected; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
