Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking Youth Development Specialists to serve as flex houseparents for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. These specialists provide guidance, foster family-like structures, and manage various responsibilities to create a nurturing environment within the private school setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; married couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
