Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School provides a unique opportunity for married couples to become Flex Houseparents, nurturing and guiding students in a family-like environment. The school offers a comprehensive career-focused education for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds, covering housing, meals, and all educational costs.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with a minimum of two years of marriage; both spouses must be age 27 or older; abide by campus rules including limitations on pets and no alcohol while on duty; possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive student home vans; high school diploma or GED required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Benefits: Salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple including housing and meals), comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision insurance, etc.), relocation assistance and paid training, nine days on and three days off schedule, three-week paid summer vacation
