Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a prestigious private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Youth Development Specialists, known as flex houseparents. Flex houseparents provide guidance and support to a group of 8-12 students in a family-like environment, offering comprehensive care and managing various responsibilities within the school setting.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; Legal marriage for at least two years; Both spouses aged 27 or older; High school diploma or GED required; Able to lift up to 50 lbs; Valid driver’s license; Ability to become certified to drive student home vans; Comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; No alcohol permitted while on duty; Smoke and weapon-free campus policy; Limitations on pets; Demonstrated high integrity; Both spouses must complete individual employment application
