Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a prestigious private school in Hershey, PA, is seeking Youth Development Specialists in a dual-role position for legally married couples. This unique opportunity involves serving as flex houseparents for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing guidance and a nurturing environment on-campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; couples only – no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus policies including smoke-free, weapon-free, and no alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets – only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed.
