Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Youth Development Specialist position at Milton Hershey School involves couples serving as flex houseparents in on-campus student homes, providing guidance and a family-like environment for disadvantaged students. Flex houseparents at MHS provide structure, guidance, and support to groups of 8-12 students, handling various responsibilities within a family-oriented atmosphere.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, particularly in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for a minimum of two years; both spouses must be aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license with the capability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; demonstrate a high level of integrity as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications
