Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private educational institution that offers a comprehensive career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS is fully endowed to provide students and staff with all necessary resources for success. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and care for a group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as a role model for students; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; must abide by campus regulations including no alcohol on duty, limitations on pets, and smoke-free/weapon-free policy.
