Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides exceptional educational support, including housing and meals, with all costs covered. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to a group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, ideally in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol allowed on duty; restricted pet policy allowing only fish and one approved dog breed; valid driver’s license with ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses to complete individual employment applications.
