Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to provide nurturing guidance to students in a structured home environment. This unique private school offers career-focused education for students from pre-K through 12th grade, covering all costs including housing and meals, thanks to the generosity of its founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey. The school is fully endowed to support the success of both students and staff.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, no alcohol on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
