Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a prestigious private school offering exceptional career-focused education from pre-K through 12th grade to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, providing everything necessary for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and support a group of students in a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol on duty, limitations on pets, and smoke-free and weapon-free policies.
