Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents in on-campus student homes. The school offers a career-focused education and comprehensive support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, covering all costs for pre-K through 12th-grade students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus rules including a smoke-free, weapon-free environment, and no alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only approved breeds of fish and one dog; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
