Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking Youth Development Specialists to serve as flex houseparents, residing on-campus to provide guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This unique educational institution offers a career-focused education with housing, meals, and all costs covered, thanks to the generosity of its founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; must be smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free while on duty; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Proselytizing is prohibited); both spouses must complete an individual employment application
