Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples for the role of Youth Development Specialist, serving as flex houseparents for 8-12 students. This unique opportunity involves providing a nurturing family-like environment and comprehensive support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legal marriage of at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; uphold campus rules including no alcohol on duty, smoke-free and weapon-free environment, limitations on pets; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate integrity and serve as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Benefits: Salary of $43,825 per person (approx. $150,000 per couple including housing and meals), comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, relocation assistance, paid training, nine days on and three days off schedule, three-week paid summer vacation
