Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school located in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, providing guidance and support to groups of students in a family-like environment. This unique opportunity allows individuals to impact the lives of students from underserved backgrounds by offering career-focused education, housing, meals, and more, all covered by the school’s endowment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, particularly from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples of at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including a smoke-free and weapon-free environment, no alcohol on duty, limitations on pets, and religious participation; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity and serve as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
