Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school providing exceptional career-focused education, housing, meals, and full support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, thanks to the generosity of its founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as Flex Houseparents, offering guidance and care to a group of students within on-campus homes.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol permitted while on duty; limitations on pets allowing only fish and one approved dog breed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfort with leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of high integrity as role models for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
