Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is currently seeking married couples to serve as Youth Development Specialists, known as flex houseparents. This unique opportunity involves residing in on-campus student homes, providing guidance and nurturing a family-like environment for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Flex houseparents play a crucial role in supporting students’ overall well-being, education, and development within a structured and supportive community at Milton Hershey School.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of high integrity; completion of individual employment application by both spouses
