Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is an esteemed private educational institution providing a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS offers exceptional resources and support for both students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to nurture and guide a group of students, providing a family-like structure and essential care.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must have been legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
