Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Youth Development Specialists, known as flex houseparents. In this role, couples will create a nurturing environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing guidance, support, and daily care within the school’s supportive community.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no alcohol on duty and limitations on pets.
