Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private educational institution offering career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds from pre-K through 12th grade. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support, all fully covered by the endowment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for married couples with at least two years of legal marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations such as smoke-free and weapon-free policies, no alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending chapel services, high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment application.
