Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school providing exceptional career-focused education and full support to students from pre-K through 12th grade with disadvantaged backgrounds, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and nurturing to a small group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of high integrity; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
