Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to join as Flex Houseparents. This unique opportunity involves residing in on-campus student homes, providing guidance and support to a group of students in a family-like setting.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this is a two-person job open to legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older, restriction on the number of dependent children in the student home, adherence to campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty, limited pet policy, valid driver’s license with the ability to drive student home vans, willingness to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, high integrity and role model behavior for students, completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
