Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, providing comprehensive support for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture small groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including a smoke-free, weapon-free environment and no alcohol while on duty; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; complete individual employment applications for both spouses.
