Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents on their campus in Hershey, PA. This unique role involves providing guidance and nurturing to students from disadvantaged backgrounds while living on campus and maintaining a family-like structure in student homes.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; both spouses must complete an individual employment application; smoke-free and weapon-free campus with limitations on pets; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
