Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides housing, meals, and comprehensive resources for both students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to nurture and guide a group of students in a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; married couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; maximum of three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no alcohol on duty, smoke-free and weapon-free environment, limitations on pets, valid driver’s license, ability to drive student home vans, comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Sunday chapel services, high school diploma or GED required, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, demonstrate high integrity as role models for students, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
