Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support to students and staff for their holistic development. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to a small group of students in a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol while on duty, limitations on pets, and smoke-free and weapon-free policies; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
