Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides housing, meals, and full coverage of all costs for students and staff to ensure a thriving environment. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of students in a family-like structure.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including smoke-free, weapon-free policy, and no alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
