Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. This unique role involves providing guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds in a family-like environment within the campus student homes.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy adherence; willingness to abide by campus regulations on pets; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
