Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to work as Flex Houseparents. In this role, couples will reside in on-campus student homes, providing guidance and support to a group of students from pre-K through 12th grade. Flex Houseparents create a family-like structure for students and handle various responsibilities to ensure a nurturing environment for the students.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from underserved backgrounds; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; no more than three dependent children in the student home; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; adherence to campus rules including smoke-free, weapon-free, and pet limitations
