Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private school providing career-focused education and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offers comprehensive services including housing and meals while maintaining a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and providing guidance and support to a group of students in a family-like environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; must complete an individual employment application; commitment to a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus; limitation on pets to fish and one approved breed dog
