Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school providing a career-focused education for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering housing, meals, and comprehensive support at no cost. The school is fully endowed, thanks to its founders Milton and Catherine Hershey, ensuring a thriving environment for both students and staff. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, fostering a family-like atmosphere for students and overseeing daily activities in on-campus homes.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license; ability to lead students in daily devotions and attend Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity as role models for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
