Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private educational institution offering exceptional career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Married couples are sought to serve as flex houseparents, nurturing and guiding a group of 8-12 students in a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol while on duty; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
