Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, living on campus to guide and nurture groups of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school provides a career-focused education from pre-K to 12th grade, covering all costs for students and staff to ensure a thriving environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for married couples with at least two years of legal marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
