Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a prestigious private school providing a career-focused education to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school offers a fully endowed program covering all costs for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture a group of students with consistent care.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; both spouses must be age 27 or older; two years of legal marriage required for couples; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; no more than three dependent children in the student home; exhibit a high degree of integrity as role models for students
