Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. This unique role involves providing a family-like structure for disadvantaged students on campus, offering support in various daily responsibilities for student well-being and growth.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage and both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; adhere to campus guidelines including smoke-free, weapon-free environment, no alcohol on duty, limitations on pets, valid driver’s license, ability to drive student home vans, comfortable leading students in daily devotions, and high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
