Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade, from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides housing, meals, and full coverage of all costs for students. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from underserved settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples of at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no alcohol on duty and limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity and be a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
