Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade, specifically from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides comprehensive support including housing, meals, and full coverage of all costs for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes, and providing guidance and support to a small group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples who have been legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity and role model behavior expected from staff; completion of individual employment application by both spouses
