Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a well-known private school offering exceptional career-focused education and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, ranging from pre-K through 12th grade. The school provides housing, meals, and comprehensive coverage of all costs, thanks to its full endowment. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing on campus, guiding and nurturing a group of students, and providing a family-like structure.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
