Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, providing guidance and care for students from disadvantaged backgrounds in a nurturing environment on its campus. Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including a smoke-free and weapon-free environment, limitations on pets, and no alcohol permitted while on duty; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
