Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school providing exceptional career-focused education and full support to students from pre-K to 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS offers a fully endowed environment for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and providing guidance and support to a small group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for couples married for at least two years; both spouses should be aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations such as being smoke-free and weapon-free, no alcohol on duty, and limitations on pets; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity and be a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
