Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, providing a family-like structure and support to a group of 8-12 students in on-campus homes.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; two-person job for legally married couples with minimum of two years of marriage; both spouses aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limited pet allowances; valid driver’s license and the ability to drive student vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity and the ability to serve as role models for students; both spouses must submit individual employment applications.
