Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution, is seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Youth Development Specialists in Hershey, PA. This unique role as flex houseparents involves guiding and nurturing 8-12 underprivileged students in a family-like environment, providing support in daily activities, and fostering positive educational experiences. The school covers all costs for students in pre-K through 12th grade, including housing and meals, ensuring a nurturing environment for both students and staff.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; married couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending chapel services; smoke, weapon, and alcohol-free campus; limitations on pets; high degree of integrity; complete individual employment applications for both spouses
