Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School (MHS), a renowned private school, provides a career-focused education and housing for students from disadvantaged backgrounds from pre-K through 12th grade. Established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS is fully endowed, offering comprehensive resources to ensure the well-being and success of both students and staff. The school is currently seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, nurturing and guiding groups of 8-12 students in an on-campus family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; valid driver’s license; willingness to lead students in daily devotions and attend Sunday chapel services; adhere to campus regulations such as smoke-free and weapon-free policies; limit of three dependent children in the student home
